Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit bracelet, anklet, necklace, or hand chain that is welded closed instead of secured with a traditional clasp.

There is no clasp unless you request one. There is no hook. There is no daily removal.

Is Permanent Jewelry Actually “Permanent”?

No.

Permanent jewelry is not attached to your skin.
It is not soldered onto your body.
It is not medical.
It is not invasive.

It is simply a fine chain that is micro-welded closed around your wrist, ankle, or neck.

If you ever want to remove it, it can be safely cut with scissors at the jump ring. It can also be rewelded later if desired.

Think of it as “long-term wear jewelry,” not irreversible jewelry.

Is It Safe?

Yes, absolutely - we even weld ourselves!  We use a quick, precision micro-welding process performed by trained Golden Bond jewelers. The spark is controlled and only touches the metal jump ring — not your skin.

A small leather barrier is placed between the jewelry and your skin during welding for additional protection. The entire welding portion of the process takes seconds or less.

Pricing Structure & Chain Notes

• Bracelets – priced individually by chain
• Necklaces (14–18”) – priced as 2 bracelets
• Anklets – +$35 for Modern & Classic chains
• Hand Chains – priced as 7 bracelets + labor charge

Hand chains require additional precision and typically take 45 minutes to complete.

Clasps can be added to any chain upon request.

We do recommend clasps for certain chain styles and for clients with highly active or hands-on lifestyles.

How Long Do They Last?

Longevity depends on:

• Personal awareness
• Chain type

Our founder has worn even micro solid gold chains continuously for over 3 years. Several members of our team have worn our Modern and Classic chains for 2+ years.

The key? 👉 We treat them like delicate jewelry.

We do not pull, twist, tug, or play with them constantly. The bracelets that last are the ones treated with respect.

Do They Break?

They can — just like any fine chain.

95% of breaks that occur within the first month do not break again.

We strongly believe this is because wearers become more aware of their body mechanics and environment once they adjust to having a piece on continuously.

All chains are final once cut and welded to size. Refunds do not apply to permanent jewelry services.

Any Golden Bond piece purchased directly through us, with transaction record, is eligible for our Golden Guarantee:

• 1 complimentary reweld or repair within the first year

After one year, a small fee applies to cover materials and labor.

External Repairs

Yes — we repair jewelry from other brands.

External chain repairs, cleaning, and length adjustments start at:

• $15 for silver
• $25 for gold

Hand chain repairs may require more intricate labor and are priced accordingly.

Appointment Deposit Policy

To prevent no-shows, a $10 deposit is required for all appointments.

• The deposit is credited toward your in-store purchase.
• Deposits are non-refundable once booked.
• If you need to reschedule, 24+ hours notice may allow store credit issuance.

We understand life happens.

However:

No-shows, hang-ups, or deliberate repeated cancellations will forfeit the deposit and will not be eligible for store credit.
