Last November, students started lining up on Peabody Lawn nearly two hours before Culturefest opened, and the line didn't let up for five straight hours. By the end of the afternoon we'd welded more than 150 pieces for students from every corner of campus. The day's posts passed 27,000 views within 24 hours.

So when UVA Student Affairs and the University Programs Council asked us back, the answer was easy.

125 Bracelets, Gifted to You

For the second year in a row, UVA Student Affairs and UPC are gifting 125 Golden Bond bracelets. That's more than last year. You choose your chain, we size it to your wrist, and we weld it closed. No clasp, nothing to lose, just a piece that stays with you.

Here's how it works: register at the check-in table with your UVA Student ID. Gifted bracelets are first come, first served, so a little honest advice: come early. We know there'll be a line, and once the 125 are gone, they're gone.

It's Parents Weekend, So Bring Them

Culturefest lands on Parents Weekend this year, and we couldn't ask for better timing. There's something special about a parent and kid walking away with matching bracelets, made together on Grounds and worn long after the weekend ends.

Every UVA student who stops by gets 25% off any purchase beyond the gifted bracelets, and so do parents shopping with their student. Just check in with your Student ID at the table.

Every performing group will receive a Golden Bond goody bag, and performers get 30% off. Come find us after your set. You've earned it.
